D: I made a wallaper out of my in-progress Battle Sister costume... I like this picture, but I can't think of a more creative way to make a wallpaper, so if anyone want to collab with me, leave a comment and I'll give ou the original photo in high-res to play around with. You're free to use this wallpaper (without claiming it's your own work, or the person in the picture is you) as you wish.
OMFG you doing a battle sister cosplay LOl awesomeness!
I shall be doing some form of Elder (thinking of doing howling banshee /maleform or a dire avenger) one either late this year for Games day or next year, dependant on monies and time .
Needs blood splatter.

Elder, huh? wow, that's not a difficult cosplay at all! If you can finish that, you'll ascend to godhood! hehe If my SoB costume looks good in the end, I might consider visiting a 40k con with it. That depends on money, of course ..XD

If you're looking for a more creative pose, there's some SoB artwork created for a mod of the Dawn of War game - it's a bit risque, but still pretty tasteful. I think you'd be able to pull it off piece of cake! I also think you'd get big kudos for bringing the artwork to life.
Let me know if you want me to track the artwork down.

Ugh, I think I need therapy, everytime I pass another anime artist's page, my first reaction is to blurt out "I WISH MY STYLE WAS MORE LIKE YOURS ARTIST-SAMAAAA!" Sigh.
Yah you might have difficulties I would suggest going to a French or other convention the English one is a fucking fucker of a thing they seem to frown on anyone cosplaying (it does happen at any rate) but my friend when she was going to do a demonette costume and her boyfriend of the time was going to do a fire warrior costume she emailed games workshop about it and they replied saying that it could be taken as copyright infringement and that they "Adviced" her to not make the costumes. So when / If I do mine with full composite vacuum made plastic armour I won't be using it fully for Games day I hope to use it around that convention but more likely the October expo or may expo the next year or what ever is when i shall fully use it.

D: copyright infringement! PAH! cosplay is worshipping the artwork and fluff of all media! I sure hope your friends had a good time anyway, and that it didn't get any more uncomfortable than that. I may just stick to special days at our Games Workshop, in that case. London Expo is a must lol, my armour won't be that advanced. I did start out using a rather advanced thermoplastic, but I ended up using foam 'cus I developed some skills at using it

thanks! I'm having a great time doing it ^,^ ! Sure, I don't mind additional ideas, though I have started making the armour combination (Order Of Our Martyred Lady) as it appears in the artwork presented in the codex (the illustration explaining the armour) and as it appears on Faith And Fire. But, of course, I'd love to see the artwork anyway! I still have time and energy to make more warhammer cosplay 'specially now that I've got the wig and all.

xD I can't find the pic I was looking for - but here's a screenshot of the Cannoness. If you EVAR did that I would have to be deemed a heretic because I might just start worshipping you. [link]
Are you going to create your own bolter and such? xD that would be maddddd~

ohh yea... THAT one. I've seen it before, it's awesome. Is there any fluff on her? Cus if she's got a decent background story, I would most probably make that armour as opposed to the typical by-the-book one. If there isn't though, I'll stick to the old artwork. For that amount of work, I need some serious inspiration, lol XD
I'll be making a bolter, yes. zomg, can you imagine a SoB cosplay WITHOUT a bolter?? Blasphemy!

I did it freehand this time, but once my costume is finished for presentation, I think I'll use a stencil. More accurate that way
